West Volusia Kennel Club
presents
Annual Dog Show
in
Ocala
October 24-25, 2020
Show Hours - 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM Each Day
Action on the track, in the ring, and at the pool!
Witness some amazing canine athletes as they compete in dock diving and lure coursing events. You can also see over 100 different breeds of dogs as they strut their stuff in the conformation rings.
Some sporting events are open to the public!
You can do more than watch at this dog show. If you've got a dog that has lots of energy and likes to chase things, you can sign them up for Fast CAT and let them chase a lure down a 100 yard track.

If your dog is into water activities and loves to jump maybe they would enjoy dock diving? Practice times are available at certain periods of the day. With a little work with the NADD instructors, you may find you have a dog that likes to make a splash at the pool!

Please review and respect our guidelines.

No force dryers in the grooming area and no dryers in the ring areas.

There will be an outside area on the dock behind grooming where you will be able to use dryers. Please bring plenty of extension cords.
Please wear a mask when in close contact with others and in any of the buildings. When you are gaiting your dog, you may drop your mask but as soon as you're done gaiting, put your mask back up.
Maintain social distancing of 6'.
Wash your hands frequently. There are numerous sanitizer stations set up throughout the show site, please make use of them.
There is no ringside seating, however, exhibitors can bring their chairs but must maintain social distancing between each other and from the rings. Household units are free to sit together. No group gatherings or congregating in the buildings.
When approaching the rings for showing, only the steward will have access to the ringside catalog and armbands. The steward will look it up for you if necessary. To facilitate this process, please know what armbands you need. Please maintain a reasonable distance from the table and the person in front of you when securing your armband.
Stewards and judges will wear masks and judges will have hand sanitizer available between each examination.
Exhibits will line up outside the ring maintaining social distancing and exhibits will be called into the ring as each judge deems appropriate. The judge will direct you as to how to prepare your dog for exam. Follow the judge's direction. When gaiting with other exhibits, maintain a distance between exhibits. After placements are made, please leave the ring and , if you are not going forward in the judging of that breed, please leave the building. The judge or steward will direct those who will remain as to where they are to wait for BOB judging.
The above rules are our attempt to have a fun event and still maintain a level of safety for all who attend. We will have committee members circulating to ensure that everyone understands the rules and to answer questions. We ask that you honor any request made of you.
If you are not feeling well, please stay home and get yourself healthy.

Please be respectful of everyone. You don't know what demons they may be fighting so be kind and be respectful.
Our Great Sponsors
Making it Possible
Everyone that has ever put together an AKC dog show knows how much time and money is required to make it happen. Without our amazing sponsors, we would not be able to provide the quality show that we do every year. Please take time to visit them at the show and check out their websites.
