The West Volusia Kennel Club (WVKC) is dedicated to supporting all aspects of responsible dog ownership and fostering a strong canine-loving community in Volusia County.
From offering expert-led obedience, rally, and conformation handling classes to hosting engaging events like our annual All-Breed Dog Show and community activities like Meet the Breed demonstrations, there’s something for everyone. Our club takes pride in meaningful community service initiatives, including the creation of the Prison Pups N Pals program and educational outreach about responsible dog ownership. We also provide a Breeder Referral Service to assist families in finding their perfect canine companion.
WVKC meetings are held monthly and feature informative programs on a variety of dog-related topics. Whether you’re a seasoned dog enthusiast or a first-time owner, WVKC is the perfect place to learn, connect, and celebrate your love for purebred dogs!

Coming Saturday, October 3!
Join the West Volusia Kennel Club at the 2nd Annual Doggy Derby for a morning of canine fun at Earl Brown Park! We'll be hosting an AKC Meet the Breeds exhibit where you can meet a variety of purebred dogs, learn about their unique traits and history, and chat with experienced exhibitors.
With dog races, costume contests, vendors, food trucks, and family-friendly activities, there's something for every dog lover.

In 2024, the West Volusia Kennel Club celebrated five decades of dedication to dogs, their owners, and our community. From hosting countless shows, events, and classes to our innovative programs like Prison Pups N Pals, WVKC has been a proud advocate for responsible dog ownership and the love of our canine companions.
